At Northholm Grammar, co-curricular involvement is an important part of enriching student life and developing character. Through a wide range of opportunities beyond the curriculum, students are encouraged to discover their passions and strive for their personal best.
We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of two students whose recent national success reflects this so strongly.

Congratulations to Sylvia Dagg in Year 9 on her exceptional performance at the Mountain Biking National Championships. Sylvia has been crowned Australian National Champion in the U17 Women’s category for both Cross Country Olympic (XCO) and Cross Country Short Course (XCC). This remarkable result is a testament to her hard work, commitment and passion for her sport, and we are incredibly proud of all she has achieved.

We also extend our warmest congratulations to Tiana Roberts (Year 10) on her outstanding success at the Australian Fencing Championships. Tiana is now the Australian Women’s Sabre Under 20’s Champion, securing victory in a thrilling 15–14 final. It is a result to be celebrated by the entire Northholm community.
Sylvia and Tiana’s success highlights the value of co-curricular involvement as part of a holistic Northholm education. Through sport and other co-curricular pursuits, students are encouraged to explore their interests, develop their strengths and discover what is possible when dedication meets opportunity.
At Northholm, character development is central to our educational philosophy. Co-curricular programs play an important role in this journey, helping students build self-belief while striving for personal excellence.
We are proud to celebrate Sylvia and Tiana as they pursue excellence in their chosen sports and contribute so positively to the life of the School. We look forward to seeing where their sporting journeys take them next.
