Connecting in colour: a warm welcome to 2026

Northholm Grammar’s Welcome Evening was a joyful beginning to the year — a chance to welcome our new families, and for our wider community to come together in the best possible way.

Across the evening, families connected in colour with others from their year groups, sharing introductions, stories and plenty of laughter. For many, it was the first chance to put friendly faces to names, share the excitement of the year ahead and begin building the relationships that so often become a cherished part of the Northholm journey.

Our students set the tone beautifully, with musical performances that brought warmth and confidence to the evening. A few operatic moments added a sense of occasion, and the audience responded with genuine enthusiasm. In true Northholm spirit, we were reminded how special it is when a school community can share fun together.

Events like the Welcome Evenings reflect what we value most: connection, participation and belonging. They also highlight the important role played by the Northholm Association (P&C) — a volunteer group of parents who help strengthen relationships across the School and support Northholm through community initiatives, social events and fundraising.

All current parents and caregivers are automatically members, and everyone is warmly invited to be involved in a way that best suits them — whether by attending a meeting, lending a hand at an event, or simply staying connected. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at the Dural Country Club. If you are interested in learning more about the Northholm Association, click here.

For families interested in getting involved, the Association can be contacted via ngspandc@northholm.nsw.edu.au and updates are shared through the Northholm Association Facebook group.

Thank you to all families who joined us for such a memorable evening. We look forward to the year ahead — together.
