The changing landscape of Teaching and Learning in challenging times

Despite the current challenges that have been presented due to COVID-19, Northholm has been proactive in its planning and preparation for the changing paradigm that remote learning presents.

The Northholm Academic Continuance Plan (NACP) was developed to provide clarity to the road ahead as to what remote learning should look like. Guidelines for staff, students and parents have been distributed and we will continue to provide further information as we move forward into Term Two.

Staff have been trained in the use of a variety of different technologies to deliver learning to the highest level.  Students have been delivered lessons following their normal timetable and staff have worked tirelessly to adapt, evolve and engage with this new mode of teaching with the sole aim of continuing to deliver academic excellence at all levels.

To achieve these goals over such a short time, illustrates utmost dedication by Staff at Northholm. Engagement by students is integral to the success of this new mode of teaching and learning and we have been very encouraged by the level of acceptance and support from our students.

There may be further challenges ahead, but Northholm is poised to face these with absolute confidence.
