Northholm students deliver outstanding HSC results

Congratulations to the Northholm Grammar Class of 2021 on their truly remarkable HSC results.

It is with much pride in celebrating our student achievements and recognising that our vision and commitment to academic growth and scholarship continues to be rewarded in consecutive years.

Northholm Grammar Year 12 2021 students

Northholm Grammar was not included in the SMH HSC Rankings because they only include schools who have completed 150 examinations or more (Northholm completed 147 examinations). Nonetheless, the percentage of Band 6 results Northholm Grammar achieved (28.57%) would position the school with the remarkable ranking 45th in State.

Positioned in the Top 50 Schools in the State is a stunning result!

With the global pandemic heavily influential in the background of their final year of schooling, our students were amazing in meeting the challenges of the HSC Examinations. The sacrifices were many including the postponement of significant rites of passage and the sudden adjustment to the changing landscape of face-to-face teaching to the ‘remote learning’ experience. However, they did all of that and more with enormous resilience and character throughout the year.

Northholm Grammar’s standing as one of the leading schools in the Sydney metropolitan area is reflected in the following highlights:

  • Top ATAR: Niamh Cassar 99.65
  • Distinguished Achievers: 43% of students gained at least one (Band 6 OR Band E4) in one of more courses
  • 3 students named on the All-Rounder Honour Roll (Niamh Cassar, Gemma Squire, Tyler Old)
  • 3 High Achievers (State Ranks) – Joseph Clemmit 1st in Music 2, Gemma Squire 8th in Ancient History and Niamh Cassar 19th in Legal Studies
  • 79% of students gaining at least one Band 5 or Band 6
  • 100% achievement: Agriculture, English Extension 1, Mathematics Extension 1, Mathematics Extension 2, Music 2 and Visual Arts
  • Above 80% achievement: Advanced Mathematics, Society & Culture
  • Above 70% achievement: Advanced English, Legal Studies and Primary Industries

Congratulations again to our Year 12 2021 cohort on their magnificent results. We are very proud of their achievements. We also extend appreciation to the families of the Class of 2021 for their support and guidance of their sons and daughters.
