Talented Northholm musicians perform for the Teachers’ Guild of NSW

Northholm was incredibly proud to have a number of our young talented musicians provide the entertainment for the Teachers’ Guild of NSW evening held last Friday night at the Concord Golf Club.

Among the guests (Principals and Staff from Sydney and greater NSW Schools) were guests of Honour. Hon Sarah Mitchell , Minister of Education and Ms Prue Car,  Shadow Minister of Education.

Joseph Clemmit, Andy Ward and Bridget Davey provided the entertainment for the evening beginning with our clarinet choir on the balcony for welcome drinks.

Joseph opened the evening accompanying Patrick Nam a council member, as he performed the Australian Anthem.  Andy performed both piano and saxophone and Joseph performed several piano and violin pieces.  Bridget performed 4 pieces and received tremendous applause.  The students were accompanied by David Stratton and Michael Tyack

The Teachers’ Guild evening is an occasion to honour excellence in teaching for both Fellowship, dedicated service Teachers as well as Early Careers.  We thank Mr Stratton, Mr Tyack and Ms Barlow for supporting and encouraging our wonderful musicians to take part in this event.
