Northholm Grammar School has long upheld a proud tradition of academic excellence, character development and community engagement, grounded in its founding vision to provide a dynamic environment where the worth of every individual is celebrated. At Northholm Grammar, we are committed to fostering intellectual growth, nurturing the pursuit of academic excellence, cultural and sporting distinction, and embedding Christian values as a cornerstone of our educational philosophy.
Our unique structure as a K-12 All-Through School enables us to deliver a comprehensive and cohesive approach to education. This seamless journey allows us to carefully guide and support the academic and personal development of each student through every stage of their schooling. By cultivating academic intentionality and pastoral attentiveness, Northholm Grammar provides an environment where students are challenged, supported and inspired to achieve their full potential.
The pursuit of scholarship at Northholm Grammar is rigorous and purposeful. We seek to instil in every student a deep appreciation for learning, encouraging critical inquiry, intellectual curiosity and creativity, and a genuine commitment to excellence. Learning experiences are designed to prepare students for the complexities of the modern world by equipping them with the dispositions and competencies to think independently, act decisively and engage meaningfully with society.
Character development remains a central tenet of our mission. At Northholm Grammar, we believe that academic success is best complemented by the cultivation of personal qualities such as resilience, leadership, empathy and integrity. These attributes, developed in harmony with intellectual achievement, propel students towards success in learning and in life. In this way, we believe that the heart of education is the education of the heart.
Our community is one of genuine connection, where students are known, valued and supported. Teachers at Northholm Grammar are not only educators but also mentors, dedicated to fostering discipline, confidence and a love of learning in every child. This connection between students, staff and parents ensures that every student has the support they need to succeed.
The partnership between the School and families plays an integral role in shaping the educational journey. By working together with shared values and goals, we create a supportive environment where students are empowered to flourish academically and personally.
I am honoured and very excited to be leading Northholm Grammar and invite you to join us in this journey from strength to strength. Be Traist.

Each year, Northholm Grammar offers a limited number of scholarships for students entering Year 5, Year 7 and Year 11. If your child has achieved exceptional results in academics, is a talented all-rounder or displays outstanding music ability, then their needs can be nurtured with a scholarship at Northholm.
Scholarships at Northholm are open to both new and continuing students who demonstrate a strong commitment to learning, excel academically and strive for excellence in all aspects of school life. Scholarships may cover full or partial tuition fees.
All Scholarship applicants are required to register for and sit the ACER Scholarship Test which is designed to assess their analysis and interpretation skills rather than any specific knowledge. Applicants will also be asked to supply evidence of meeting the criteria for each category and undertake an interview with the Principal and Head of Enrolments.
