Leadership Program

The Leadership Program has been successfully operating at Northholm Grammar School for a number of years. The Leadership Program is based upon the ideals of service to peers, school and community. To complete the program, students must undertake tasks in each of the following categories:

Simple Tasks - smaller tasks which may stand alone or may be a component of another student's complex task.

Complex Task - a more difficult task, which involves significant organisation, delegation of smaller components of the task and liaison with the outside community.

Ongoing Task - a regular (at least weekly) commitment of service within the School.

At the completion of the program, students submit a portfolio for assessment. Students are very welcome to participate in any or all components of the program. Any participation will be recognised.

A Middle School Leadership Program has been introduced, with similar aims to the Senior School program. It provides Year Eight students with the opportunity to take a more active role in student leadership within the Middle School and allows them to develop their leadership skills.
