Extension Programs

Our teachers understand that high intellectual ability is one facet of a student's personality that needs to be encouraged and nurtured. Our talented academic students are expected to achieve results that reflect their abilities and teachers work with them to achieve their very best. Our UAI scores in the HSC, for example, regularly place our very able students in the top 5% to 10% of State candidates.

We regularly receive anecdotal evidence of our students moving ahead in their careers after school because of the advantages gained at Northholm in academic achievement combined with personal growth, co-curricular opportunities and leadership initiatives. The experience able students gain at Northholm in working with talented peers as well as a broad spectrum of students of all abilities prepares them well for tertiary studies, career advancement and general adult life in the community.
